Description
As part of Daman’s Data Engineering team, you will be designing and deploying governed data pipelines to support Daman’s Self Service BI framework. This person will use business acumen to understand how data can be used and build packages to support the various patterns of use.
Responsibilities
- Translates business needs to technical requirements and develops and updates technical documentation.
- Performs data manipulation tasks using available and most appropriate data management tools such as Alteryx, python, or SQL queries and database stored procedures.
- Design and develop ETL workflows and create datasets in Alteryx to be used by BI reporting tools.
- Experience with mashing data from multiple data sources/datasets and creating master data
- Be a resource and advocate for data within the organization by teaching and empowering others to use data
- Explore and analyze any and all available data to influence our client’s projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- Highly skilled in both Alteryx Designer and Server, a Subject Matter Expert and mentor for others
- Alteryx Core Certification is REQUIRED
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Applications, Information Systems or Engineering is required
