Daman Joins Intel Solution Provider Program
Two Companies Will Work Together to Develop and Deploy e-Business Solutions on Intel Architecture
AUSTIN, TX—March 6, 2002— Daman Consulting, an Austin-based Business Intelligence concern, today announced it will join Intel's Solution Provider Program, a worldwide solution integrator-focused channel initiative that provides businesses with a source for standardized e-Business solutions. Daman and Intel have agreed to work together to deploy Intel architecture-based applications and solutions, from the front-end through the data center.
"The amount of data being leveraged by today's corporations continues to expand exponentially, which poses obvious challenges in terms of processing power," notes Gita Lal, President and CEO of Daman. "This is particularly true for analytical applications as they employ increasingly complex algorithms, especially when deployed in a real-time environments. Working with Intel's proven testing and analysis program will enable us to significantly reduce development time and costs for these closed-loop solutions. Launched two years ago, the Intel Solution Provider Program's technology enablement occurs through the use of Intel labs, engineers, and training programs. Members have access to Intel's database of collateral, white papers and solution briefs, as well as to Intel client and server hardware, software, and networking products. In addition, Solution Providers and Intel will cooperate in marketing and sales development activities.

The program builds on Intel's long history of success in working with application vendors through the optimization and porting efforts of the company's two dozen e-Business Solution Labs, where technology leaders are able to tune and optimize software running on Intel architecture based systems. The Solution Provider Program enables solutions integrators to expand their solution capabilities by working with other providers to build end-to-end electronic commerce solutions. Intel supports their Solution Provider Program participants with business development seminars, regional technical training events, and a variety of Intel architecture related content on the Solution Provider Center website.
