Daman Consulting VP Named To
DM Review's Top 10 and Hall of Fame
AUSTIN, TXFebruary 28, 2000 Daman Consulting, a premier provider of data warehouse, enterprise application
integration and Web-based portal solutions, has announced that Vice President Michael Haisten has been recognized
by DM Review readers for articles appearing in his popular online column, "The Real-time Enterprise" (www.dmreview.com). DM Review is one of the leading publications for
the data management industry. Based on votes by readers, part two of Haisten's article "The Real-time Data
Warehouse" was ranked among the Top 10 DM Review articles, while part one of the same article was placed by
overwhelming demand in the DM Review Hall of Fame.
Michael Haisten is considered one of a handful of visionaries who have helped shape the data management industry.
With over 65 data warehouses to his credit, Haisten has accrued over 24 years of leadership in information management
and architecture development. Haisten served as Chief Information Architect at Apple Computer Corporation, where
he developed the Data Warehouse Management team. He went on to manage the Corporate Information Architecture Group
and was co-developer of the VITAL Technical Architecture. Haisten has been a popular speaker at conferences and
universities around the country. He has also been designated a Fellow of the Data Warehousing Institute, a rare
honor.
